- 1. Tall - wanted to take a picture of my friend Olek, who is 6'3" standing next to a short friend.
- 3. Round - was going to take a picture of someone overweight, but that seemed entirely too insensitive. I already feel like a bitch for even mentioning this.
- 8. Early - was going to take a picture during my drive from Carmen's place to the Orlando airport, but totally fell asleep during the car ride.
- 11. Curve - had no idea what to do with this one.
- 14. A ceiling - wanted to take visit the Met and snap a shot of the Jain temple ceiling that you pass as you go up the stairs to the main Indian art exhibit.
- 16. Key - tried to find a fancy key, but didn't come across any.
- 23. Spots - wanted to take a picture of a puppy with spots.

failed.
I couldn't finish the 26 Things project. Sad face. I had a lot of ideas for the ones left on my list:

Banana River.
4. hidden
Manatee watching with Carmen.
We saw the tail of one, but the rest must have either been hiding or sleeping.
Diagnosing Disease, 1989.
25. weathered
Scoped out this book at a local thrift store for $1.99
because I loved the old school images found within.

Damn scientists!
I got the new iPhone 4!
It's my first iPhone. So done with Blackberry.
It'll cost me about 2.5x more to service it, but I'm okay with that.
12. tomorrow
In this picture, I've reversed the camera to look at my computer screen.
You can "Face Chat" with people, which is a touch creepy, don't you think?
But it might be useful one day
These technological developments reminds me of this Threadless t-shirt:
this was
supposed to be
the future
where is my jetpack,
where is my robotic companion,
where is my dinner in pill form,
where is my hydrogen fueled automobile,
where is my nuclear powered levitating home,
where is my cure for this disease

It took us four hours to bake this cake.
20. busy
(this is a picture of the unfinished version)
Darlene posing with the clown cake.
This took us about four hours to make for Tait's birthday.

Flocculation!
13. inside
FOUND MY CRANIUM CLAY AFTER ONE WHOLE YEAR OF LOOKING FOR IT!
It was inside the H&M bag where my Settlers of Catan pieces were. After opening it, I noticed these really weird crystals growing out of the clay. SCIENCE. What kind of organism grows as a crystal?? Fungi? Bacteria? Does this mean someone with fungus was touching my Cranium clay? What kind of nutritional value does clay have?
UPDATE:
according to lagunaclay.com:
[flocculation: form or cause to form into small clumps or masses]"It means the clay has 'aged' – enough time has passed between the mixing of the clay and its use for bacteria and mold to develop. This is a good thing, because mold and bacteria contribute to the workability of the clay. The way these by-products of the aging process contribute to workability is by increasing the flocculation of the clay body. This means that the clay particles will stay together better."

I am dressed like a twelve year old.
6. an animal
I bought this Kirmet shirt back when I was in high school, but
now I just wear it when I'm at home. Coincidentally, my mom
recently bought me 5th grader socks decorated with frogs (toads?
shit, I don't know the difference).
Have a nice day.

Bilal made me artwork.
"Here Yacki, I made you this!"
"Is it supposed to be a heart?"
"No, it's supposed to be the head of a penis."
